The need for funding of biomedical research into ME was underlined as the theme of ME Conference Week 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic the International ME Conference Week had to be cancelled.
The events have been rescheduled to May 2021.

Centres of Excellence for ME - #CofEforME

The theme was Centres of Excellence for ME - reflecting the establishment of a UK Centre of Excellence for ME and linking to other centres being set up around the world. This underlines the charity's work in developing international collaboration in research into ME via establishment of the centre in UK - http://www.cofeforme.eu

2014

Synergising Research into ME (IIMEC9)


The theme for IIMEC9 was Synergising Research into ME - reflecting our view that the multiple international collaborations the charity has been focused on creating are now being made and will benefit the future of biomedical research into ME.
The BRMEC4 Colloquium was intended to harness the potential of international collaboration with an objective of extending research cooperation and help drive new initiatives with biomedical research into ME.

2013

Infection, Immunity and ME - Mainstreaming ME Research (IIMEC8)

2012

Autoimmunity and ME (IIMEC7)

Invest in ME organised five events during the conference days and the theme of the conference events was Autoimmunity and ME.
The charity included the two-day Clinical Autoimmunity Working Group (BRMEC2) which had taken most of the last year to plan together with the Alison Hunter Memorial Foundation of Australia (AHMF). An evening dinner for researchers was also arranged to allow further discussions about ME research.

2011

The Way Forward for ME (IIMEC6)
This year the conference concentrated on the case for clinical trials. The charity also introduced the first Biomedical Research into ME Colloquium - an initiative to bring international biomedical researchers together to discuss building a strategy of research into the disease.
